The main causes of MRI patient table sticking usually involve the mechanical structure, drive components, rail lubrication, power system, and sensors.
Mechanical structure problems
If the table height does not match the standard entry height specified for the system, the table can enter at an uneven angle or tilt irregularly. This causes friction. Over time, friction increases, movement becomes less smooth, and the table eventually sticks.
Drive component failure
The belt that controls table entry and exit is a key drive part. If it is damaged, jammed by an object dropped by the patient, or detached, the table cannot move normally and sticking occurs. For non-magnetic drive parts such as belts, pulleys, guide blocks, and sensor mounts used in MRI tables, Hansheng Automation can machine custom parts to customer drawings in single units or small batches.
Rail problems
Insufficient rail lubrication significantly increases resistance to table movement. This is a common cause of table sticking.
Motor and gear problems
If the motor or gears are damaged, they cannot provide stable power and precise transmission for table movement. Unstable power transmission directly causes the table to stick.
Sensor problems
If a sensor fails, it cannot accurately feed back the table's real-time position and status to the control system. Without this "eye," the control system cannot precisely control the table, and sticking occurs.
Our precision parts machining service is not limited to MRI table components. Hansheng Automation also machines custom parts for respiratory equipment, compressor assemblies, medical devices, filling machinery, printing equipment, tobacco packaging machinery, yacht hardware, and RC car structural parts. We work from customer drawings and deliver single units or small batches. The service remains focused on precision parts manufacturing, not complete equipment sales.
