The motion rule of the valve stem is the general shape of the cam. When the cam with a changing radius comes into contact with the flat bottom of the valve stem, the valve stem moves back and forth; When the arc segment centered around the cam reversal comes into contact with the valve stem, the valve stem will remain stationary. Therefore, with the continuous rotation of the cam, the valve rod can intermittently move according to the expected rules.
When the cylindrical cam reverses, the side of the groove is forced to swing on the driven part, thereby driving the connected tool holder to move. The movement rules of the knife holder depend on the shape of the groove.
