A chain bucket elevator offers several practical advantages in bulk material handling. The main gains come from its sprocket design, conveying capacity, traction chain, and automatic tensioning system.
Lower maintenance cost and simpler repair
The chain bucket elevator uses a split sprocket. The hub and the rim connect with high-strength bolts. When the sprocket wears to a certain point, workers can remove the bolts and replace only the rim. The repair is simple, material use is lower, and maintenance cost drops. When a rim or other wear part reaches its limit, Hansheng Automation can machine a replacement from customer drawings. We match material, tolerance, and surface treatment to the drawing and working conditions.
Higher conveying capacity
Compared with an HL-type elevator of the same bucket width, a chain bucket elevator can convey nearly twice the material. It handles large material volumes efficiently.
Strong, wear-resistant traction chain
The traction part is a low-alloy high-strength round link chain. After proper heat treatment, the chain has high tensile strength and good wear resistance. This extends service life and reduces replacement frequency.
Stable and reliable automatic tensioning
The lower section uses a weight-lever tensioning device. After installation, it needs no frequent adjustment. It tensions automatically and keeps constant tension. This helps prevent slipping or chain derailment and keeps the elevator running normally and steadily.
Hansheng Automation also machines custom precision parts for other equipment, including filling machinery, tobacco packaging machinery, yacht components, and RC car components. We work from customer drawings for single pieces or small batches.
