An automatic crimp capping machine seals aluminum caps on glass containers. It is used in filling lines at pharmaceutical plants and research institutes. The design draws on imported machines. It runs as part of an automated line.

The main frame is welded from profiled sections. The drive uses a Panasonic inverter and a worm gear reducer. Controls are simple, and the machine is built for reliable operation. External surfaces and key parts are stainless steel. The design is compact, efficiency is high, and breakage rate is low.

Working principle:

Bottles enter through the infeed turntable and move to the indexing position. The indexing mechanism runs continuously. A bottle lifting cam raises the bottle. At the top position, the capping head is fixed and rotates. The crimping blades on the disc move inward and press the aluminum cap to form a tight seal. At the bottom position, the bottle is released and transferred by the indexing wheel to the discharge track. The capping process is complete. An eccentric adjustment mechanism allows quick adjustment to get the required crimp.

Technical data:

Suitable for molded glass bottles and tubular glass vials from 2 ml to 25 ml.
Output: 0 to 250 bottles per minute, stepless speed control.
Total power: 0.8 kW.
Power supply: single-phase AC 220 V, customizable on request.
Maximum external dimension: about 600 mm.
Weight: about 450 kg.

If the capping head, crimping blades, indexing wheel, or cam wear out, Hansheng Automation can machine replacements from customer drawings in single pieces or small batches.
