July 2, 2024, China – STMicroelectronics has introduced the TSB952 dual op amp (op amp). With a gain bandwidth of 52MHz and a supply current of only 3.3mA per channel at 36V, the new devices bring high performance to power-conscious designs.
With a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, the TSB952 offers high design flexibility and can be used with a wide range of power supplies, including industry-standard voltage rails. In addition, the wide-voltage power supply helps the system withstand large transient peaks and voltage drops. The new op amps also feature rail-to-rail output slew to meet the wide dynamic range requirements of application designs, such as power signal conditioning.
The TSB952 has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and can be used in industrial and automotive environments. STMicroelectronics will launch an AEC-Q101 qualified automotive model in the second half of 2024. All products are resistant to 4kV ESD (human body model) and have enhanced EMI immunity.
The TSB952 is available in a 3mm x 3mm DFN8 wettable side package, which allows for both space-saving and economical PCB designs. The new products are also available in an SO8 package with standard pinouts, allowing customers to upgrade existing designs to improve performance and energy efficiency.
Industrial-grade products in DFN8 and SO8 packages are in production now, while automotive-grade products will be available in Q3 2024. Samples of the TSB952 can be requested free of charge from the ST eShop. The TSB952 is included in ST's 10-year product life guarantee program, which guarantees long-term product availability.
