Inovance: Internationalization is the top strategy for the future

Recently, when Inovance Technology was interviewed by an investment institution, it mentioned that in the context of sluggish market demand for low-voltage inverters, the company's general automation division has adopted an active market strategy: ① The company continues to deploy multi-product solutions, and the competitiveness of products and solutions is also continuously improving, and customer stickiness is continuously strengthened through process-based solutions; ② Seize the structural needs of the industry and bring incremental business through opportunities in the segmented market. Through the above strategies, the company has achieved good growth in orders in traditional industries such as textiles, air compressors, ceramics, metal products and cables. These industries have a large demand for low-voltage inverters, providing good support for the company's low-voltage inverter share growth.

Internationalization is the company's top strategy for the next few years. In promoting overseas business, Inovance Technology is building a localized layout of integrated production, sales and research in our overseas markets based on the needs of regional customers and the pace of regional customers. From the perspective of regional markets, the company divides the global market into two parts: ① European and American markets: relatively developed industrial economies, customers are global high-end manufacturing customers, and customers are facing huge competitive pressure and are beginning to pursue cost-effectiveness. The company has planned a research and development center in Stuttgart, Germany, and deployed a European factory in Hungary to meet the demand for products in Europe. ② Non-European and American markets: including East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and other regions. The company's expansion strategy in the Indian market has changed from a sales and service center to a system integration center. Other regions will also optimize their layout based on future market expansion.

ABB launches new generation medium voltage inverter ACS8080

ABB has launched the latest medium-voltage air-cooled inverter ACS8080, which has an efficiency of up to 98%. It adopts the new MP3C motor control technology, which greatly improves efficiency and motor friendliness while retaining the dynamic response and robustness advantages of direct torque control (DTC). Compared with traditional control and modulation schemes, ACS8080 reduces harmonic interference by about 50%, thereby effectively extending the service life of equipment and achieving energy saving.

ACS8080 adopts a modular and flexible design, supports external transformers and sine wave filter options, and is not only suitable for new applications, but also for the transformation of existing drive systems or power frequency operation (DOL) motors.

Advanced digital functions give ACS8080 high flexibility: integrating the open software platform Crealizer™ into the ABB inverter operating system can realize advanced programming functions, so that unique innovative application functions can be quickly developed and deployed, reducing dependence on external controllers.

Beckhoff: New member added to CX7000 embedded controller product series

Beckhoff has added two new devices to the CX7000 series with an Arm® Cortex®-A9 processor (720 MHz). A microSD card slot and an Ethernet interface are standard, as well as eight multifunctional inputs and four multifunctional outputs.

The CX7000 series now includes seven different Embedded PCs (the CX7293 is shown in the picture)

The CX7291 Embedded PC supports the BACnet/IP protocol and is therefore ideal for HVAC, lighting controllers, and security and fire alarm applications. The CX7293 Embedded PC is equipped with a PROFINET RT device interface. Depending on the application, users can plug E-bus or K-bus terminals behind the two devices; the Embedded PC automatically detects the type of system connected during startup. The controller programming is done with TwinCAT 3 via the Ethernet interface. Compared to the basic CX7000 series, the CX72xx series devices have higher CPU performance and an integrated capacitive 1-second UPS.

The launch of the CX7000 Embedded PC marks the introduction of the TwinCAT 3 software environment for small controllers, providing high computing power for the small controller segment. The extremely compact design of the new device, measuring only 71 mm x 100 mm x 73 mm, ensures the highest scalability of PC-based control technology for small controller applications that require a particularly small footprint.
