At the opening ceremony of the conference, Zhang Xinyu, chairman of the organizing committee of ROSCon China2024, said that the convening of ROSCon China is an important milestone in the development of China's robotics industry, which will greatly promote the development of robotics technology and industrial upgrading in China and even the world.
According to Gu Qiang, Secretary General of the ROSCon China 2024 Organizing Committee, the registration attracted the active participation of more than 200 manufacturers and research institutes, and the main audience of the conference is professionals related to robot development and research.
As the host of the conference, Shanghai Baoshan District has been committed to building a highland of robot industry for more than ten years. According to public information, the scale of Shanghai's artificial intelligence industry will exceed 380 billion yuan in 2023, with 348 enterprises above the designated size and 250,000 industrial talents, forming a whole industry chain pattern from core chips, algorithm platforms, intelligent terminal products to industry applications. With its construction of digital science and technology innovation ecology and breakthroughs in key digital technologies, Baoshan District has become an important node of Shanghai's service radiation to the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta and a new growth pole for the economic development of northern Shanghai.
