RoBoLeague Robot Soccer Tournament Kicks Off in Beijing Yizhuang, Four University Teams Compete For AI Competition Supremacy

On June 28, the RoBoLeague World Robot Soccer League Artificial Intelligence (AI) Competition kicked off at the Beijing Yizhuang Smart Esports Competition Center. The event focuses on autonomous competition among humanoid robots. Four university teams, including the Blaze Guangzhi Team from Beijing University of Information Science and Technology and the Power Intelligent Team from Tsinghua University's Future Laboratory, advanced to the finals after qualifying through preliminary rounds. They will compete using the "Accelerate T1" standard platform to showcase their AI strategies and operational control capabilities in a final showdown.

The event adopts a "technology + sports" cross-industry model to drive humanoid robot technology from the laboratory into real-world applications. The participating robots do not require human control and must use their own AI algorithms to make offensive and defensive decisions. The final round uses a single-elimination format, focusing on testing the robots' agility, strategic coordination, and environmental adaptability. As a key component of Beijing Yizhuang's "Endurance (Marathon) + Agility (Football Match)" dual IP strategy, the event not only provides a platform for technical validation and industrial exchange but also showcases the cutting-edge appeal of the robotics industry through immersive tech experiences and live online broadcasts.

 

As the permanent host city of the World Robot Conference, Beijing Yizhuang is building a global industrial exchange hub through a "conference + competition + event" matrix.
