Gear Manufacturing - ISO/DIN/GB Grade 5-11 Precision
Custom gears are one of our core businesses. Dimensional tolerances, surface finish, and profile accuracy compound at every stage, and errors are unforgiving in high-cycle or high-load applications. Hansheng's gear manufacturing capability is built around five core processes, each supported by industry-recognized equipment.
Gear Skiving, performed on a Kashifuji KPS30, is particularly suited to complex internal gears and delivers ISO Grade 5–7 accuracy. Gear Hobbing on a Ningjiang YK3610IV CNC Horizontal Hobbing Machine offers efficient high-volume production of external gears at Grade 6–7. Gear Shaping, supported by a Nidec SE25FR and a YS5120CNC four-axis high-speed shaping machine (capable of 1,750 strokes per minute), handles both internal and external profiles at Grade 7–9. For small internal gears in volume production, a Nachi Gear Broaching machine covers Grade 8–11 applications. And for applications requiring the highest accuracy, Hansheng's grinding capability brings finished gears to ISO Grade 5.
The full scope of gear production covers module ranges from 0.1 to 5.0, tip circle diameters from 3 mm to 300 mm, and gear types including spur, helical, bevel, rack, and gear shaft configurations. All production is measured against ISO, DIN, and GB standards.

CNC Precision Machining - Down to ±0.002 mm

Hansheng's CNC machining capability operates across four precision tiers, allowing customers to specify the level.
Standard turning and milling delivers ±0.01 mm accuracy for general mechanical components. Precision grinding and precision turn-mill operations both achieve ±0.005 mm, suitable for bearing seats, transmission housings, and close-tolerance assemblies. For the most demanding surface and dimensional requirements, Hansheng's super mirror-finish machining achieves ±0.002 mm.
The equipment base supporting these capabilities includes vertical and horizontal machining centers with work envelopes up to 2,100 × 1,060 mm, a Seibu Wire EDM M50B for high-precision wire cutting, Taesin TXC-T6 CNC milling, Brother TC-S2A CNC turning, and CNC automatic mold-making equipment. Dedicated gear inspection instruments ensure that all gear-related output is verified against specification before dispatch.
Casting Capability - Large-Scale Production with Tight Tolerances
Our precision casting is typically combined with precision CNC machining, primarily providing custom components for various types of tobacco packaging machinery and other packaging machinery. For large structural components, Hansheng's casting operation provides a capable foundation, handling parts up to 3,800 × 1,500 × 1,200 mm in size - a footprint that accommodates industrial housings, large transmission cases, and structural frames that smaller foundries cannot manage.
Free tolerances sit at ±1 mm, while specified tolerances can be held to ±0.03 mm for features where dimensional control is critical. Three casting processes are available: Sand Casting for versatile, cost-efficient production; Lost Foam Casting for complex geometries with minimal draft constraints; and Gravity Casting for non-ferrous alloy components requiring good surface finish and dimensional consistency.

Our casting capability is not an isolated service; it is deeply integrated as an upstream process into Hansheng's CNC machining and gear manufacturing workflow. This integrated model allows customers to consolidate multiple stages - including casting, machining, and quality inspection - into a single supply chain, delivering a convenient one-stop service experience.
Motion Control Products - Four major gearbox series
Hansheng also manufactures a line of precision motion control components that draw directly on the same gear manufacturing, CNC, and assembly capabilities described above.
The Cam Indexer achieves standard positioning accuracy of ±30 arc sec, with custom configurations reaching ±15 arc sec. The Hollow Rotary Table holds ≤15 arc sec standard and ≤10 arc sec on custom builds. The Planetary Gearbox is available in three backlash grades: P2 (≤3 arc min), P1 (≤2 arc min), and P0 (≤1 arc min). The Harmonic Drive offers ≤10 arc sec standard and ≤5 arc sec in custom specification.
