According to the financial report, Tesla's Q3 revenue was $25.18 billion, an increase of 8% year-on-year, slightly lower than the market expectation of $25.37 billion, net profit was about $2.17 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17%, or $0.62 per share, significantly exceeding analysts' expectations, and the operating profit margin was 10.8%, up from 7.6% in the same period last year.

In the conference call after the earnings report, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that thanks to the reduction of car costs and the emergence of autonomous driving, Tesla's car sales can increase by 20%-30% next year in the best case.

Musk expects the Cybercab to achieve mass production in 2026, with the goal of producing at least 2 million units per year; The company will launch a ride-hailing service (ride-sharing service) in Texas and California in 2025 and is awaiting regulatory approval.

Musk also said that when Tesla's cheap electric car model is launched, the unit price will be less than 30,000 US dollars (IT home note: currently about 214,000 yuan), Tesla will not produce a cheap car that lacks a driverless version, and the regular $25,000 electric car will be "meaningless".
