On May 28, 2025, Horizon Robot's subsidiary, Sweet Potato Robot, announced the completion of a $100 million Series A funding round, with participation from domestic and international institutions such as Hillhouse Capital and Five Source Capital, coinciding with its first anniversary of independent operations. The funding will be used to build an integrated hardware and software embodied intelligence ecosystem and advance the research, development, and commercialization of robotics development infrastructure.
Full-stack technology covers multiple computing power scenarios, with development kits set to launch
Sweet Potato Robotics has established a full-stack product portfolio spanning 5 to 500 TOPS of computing power, encompassing chips, algorithms, and software, and compatible with various scenarios such as humanoid robots and wheeled-legged robots. Its RDK S100 development kit will be officially released in June. As the industry's first single SoC computing and control integrated platform, it features over 100 TOPS of computing power, enabling coordinated perception and motion control computing. It has been adopted by partners such as Leju Robotics and the Tsinghua University Institute of Intelligent Industry.
Breakthrough in consumer market scale, with chip shipments exceeding 5 million units.
In the consumer sector, its Xuri series chips are integrated into leading products from companies like Ecovacs and Yunjing, with shipments exceeding 5 million units, growing by over 1 million units annually, covering household scenarios such as vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers. Additionally, the platform has empowered over 200 small and medium-sized startups, incubating nearly 100 new product categories such as golf robots and pool robots.
Expanding developer and university ecosystems, building a talent cultivation system
Currently, Digu Robot has nearly 100,000 global developers across over 20 countries, with an annual growth rate of 100%. It collaborates with over 200 universities (including Tsinghua University and Nanjing University) to build a talent cultivation system for embodied intelligence from K-12 to graduate levels, driving technological innovation and industrial implementation.
The company envisions becoming the "Wintel of the robotics era," leveraging computing power infrastructure, ecosystem synergy, and capital investment to accelerate the large-scale application of embodied intelligence technology, thereby enabling robotics development to enter a new phase of efficient collaboration.
