This breakthrough marks that my country has achieved full-chain technology autonomy and control in the field of brain-computer interface, injecting "Chinese core" power into brain science research and medical applications.
According to reports, the brain-computer chip neural engineering team of Hainan University has nearly 20 years of experience in the research and development of brain-computer interface chips and systems, and has developed a number of core chips around invasive brain-computer interfaces, including: SX-R128S4 high-throughput neural signal acquisition and stimulation chip, SX-S32 high-degree-of-freedom neural regulation chip, and SX-WD60 low-power wireless transmission chip.
The above chips achieve full-link coverage of brain-computer interface signal acquisition, regulation, and transmission, and their performance is comparable to international first-line products, and has been highly recognized by many scientific research institutions and enterprises in the industry.
The team leader said: "The dedicated chip is the core of the brain-computer interface system. The team has been focusing on the development and iteration of the chip, and has always insisted on independent innovation. The chip performance has reached the international advanced level. We are committed to bringing scientific research results out of the laboratory, breaking my country's dependence on imports of invasive brain-computer interface chips, and helping China's brain-computer interface industry take off."

Public information shows that the brain-computer interface (BCI) is a technology that directly connects the brain with external devices, allowing human-computer interaction through neural signals without relying on traditional muscle or language commands.
In simple terms, the brain-computer interface is like a "super link" between the brain and the outside world. It allows us to skip the body and directly use our thoughts to control devices that were once only controlled by hand or language. There is no need for cumbersome operations and complex instructions. Just one thought can open up a whole new world.
Not long ago, the "Bei Nao No. 1" intelligent brain-computer system, as an important achievement of my country in the field of brain-computer interface technology, has entered the clinical verification stage. At present, 3 patients have completed surgical implantation, and the patients have recovered well after surgery. After postoperative training, they have achieved motor imagery brain control and real-time decoding of Chinese language.
Recently, the clinical trial of high-precision real-time motion decoding conducted by Brain-Tiger Technology and the team of Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University has made another important breakthrough - a 19-year-old patient with right frontal lobe epilepsy was successfully implanted with a 256-channel flexible brain-computer interface independently developed by Brain-Tiger Technology. The patient recovered well after the operation and successfully entered the clinical trial two days later.
Through a total of 19.87 hours of classic paradigm training such as Center-out and WebGrid, the subjects achieved precise brain control operations on classic games "Pac-Man" and "Tank Wars" and large-scale complex games "Honor of Kings" and "Black Myth: Wukong".
