Recently, the "Unmanned Ship Remote Control Center" of the 704th Research Institute under China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. in Changxing Island Park, Shanghai, successfully conducted a demonstration experiment on remote control navigation and firefighting of ships, marking a significant breakthrough in China's research on key technologies for unmanned intelligent firefighting tugboats in offshore areas.
It is understood that the company only completed the installation and testing of the remote control system for the target ship "Donghai Rescue 151" in 4 days. The control center for this experiment is located in the remote control center of the unmanned ship at No. 704 Institute on Changxing Island, Shanghai. During the experiment, the captain of the "Donghai Rescue 151" conducted remote control navigation, autonomous navigation, remote fire gun control, and autonomous fire protection tests on the "Donghai Rescue 151" located 160 kilometers away in the Zhoushan sea area at the center. The test progressed smoothly and the results met expectations.
It is understood that the project aims to apply remote control technology to rescue in high sea conditions, firefighting in hazardous environments, and other related tasks, which can effectively protect the life safety of task executors. It has great application value and development potential, and provides a new solution for future maritime emergency rescue.
In recent years, Chinese ships have been continuously exploring the integration and application of autonomous navigation technology with practical scenarios, while continuously researching and developing autonomous navigation technology, and have achieved a series of scientific research results. The company will continue to be driven by innovation, with technology at its core, and strive to promote the application of intelligent, unmanned and other technologies in more fields, making new contributions to creating a new future of maritime safety and efficient operations.
