China Mobile: Plans To Build A Super-large-scale Computing Power Factory And Study 100,000-card Intelligent Computing Center

On April 10, at today's 2025 China Mobile Cloud Intelligent Computing Conference, Yang Jie, chairman of China Mobile, gave a speech.

 

He said that China Mobile's dispatchable computing power resources already account for one-sixth of the country, and in the future, it will further strengthen cloud intelligent computing on the basis of computing power network.

 

Yang Jie also revealed that in terms of building a converged computing network infrastructure, China Mobile plans to build a super-large-scale "computing power factory" to promote the doubling and expansion of 10,000-card and 1,000-card intelligent computing centers, and at the same time carry out research on 100,000-card intelligent computing centers.

Last month, China Mobile released its full-year performance for 2024, with revenue reaching 1040.8 billion yuan.

 

In the past two years, China Mobile's direct investment in AI has exceeded 12 billion, with a year-on-year increase of more than 10 times in 2024. In 2025, the scale and proportion of direct investment in AI will continue to increase.

 

China Mobile's total capital expenditure in 2025 is expected to be approximately 151.2 billion yuan, mainly used for connection infrastructure optimization, computing infrastructure upgrades, long-term infrastructure layout, and supporting CHBN technological innovation and perception improvement.
