Casio Computer Company's intelligent pet robot, Moflin, has performed exceptionally well in the Japanese market, exceeding sales expectations thanks to its AI-driven personalized interactive experience.

It recognizes its owner through frequent interactions and learns from interactions like petting and hugging, gradually developing a unique personality and habits. It can display over four million different personality traits. It is designed to be a caring companion in work and life, providing support when faced with difficulties.
Moflin officially launched in November of last year and has sold over 7,000 units as of March of this year. It's particularly popular among women in their 30s and 40s. Some users even take it out for fun on their days off. Development team leader Erina Ichikawa explained that Moflin has a growth trajectory and sleep cycle similar to a real animal, allowing users to feel that their robot is uniquely theirs.
The robot is priced at 59,400 yen (approximately RMB 2,893) in Japan. Casio also offers additional services such as a "salon" to clean and care for the robot's fur, further enhancing the user experience.
