Galaxy General is a technology innovation enterprise dedicated to the research and development of general service robots, dedicated to the field of embodied intelligence and robotics. In November 2023, Galaxy General Motors announced the completion of a billion yuan angel+round of financing, introducing strategic investors and multiple investment institutions. However, it was not until a few days ago that the angel round financing of up to 700 million yuan was finally announced.


It is reported that after the completion of this round of financing, Galaxy General Motors will continue to focus on improving the generalization ability of embodied large models, and steadily carry out technical and hardware preparations for model implementation in real scenarios.

In May, Galaxy General and Peking University jointly established the "Peking University Galaxy General embodied intelligence joint laboratory". On June 6th, at the 2024 China Humanoid Robot Developers Conference and the 3rd Zhangjiang Robot Global Ecological Summit, Galaxy General Motors showcased its first generation wheeled dual arm universal humanoid robot, Galbot. It is understood that Gabot has a multimodal brain model that can perceive the general environment and understand user instructions, with a success rate of over 95% for cross shape material generalization grasping technology.


On June 14th, 2024, at the Beijing Zhiyuan Conference, Galaxy General Motors released its first generation of generalized embodied large model robot, Galaxy General Motors G1, and stated that it has super strong generalization recognition, grasping, and 3D visual navigation capabilities.

At the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2024) held on June 21st, Huawei Cloud officially launched the Pangu embodied intelligent large model 5.0. At the same time, at the conference, the humanoid robot equipped with Pangu's ability - "Kuafu" also made a synchronized appearance.


Kuafu Robot is a product developed in collaboration between Huawei and Leju Robotics, powered by Pangu's embodied intelligent model. It is reported that the Pangu model can enable robots to complete more than 10 steps of complex task planning, and achieve multi scene generalization and multi task processing during task execution. At the same time, the Pangu model can also generate training videos that robots need, allowing them to learn various complex scenes more quickly.
