The principle of a pulsating vacuum sterilizer is to repeatedly evacuate air from the sterilization chamber and inject steam, eliminating residual air and maximizing steam sterilization effectiveness.

 

Steam sterilization works by using the large amount of latent heat released when steam condenses into water. This high-temperature heat can effectively kill bacteria. The pulsating vacuum sterilizer improves this process by repeatedly drawing a vacuum to remove air from the chamber. Because air can hinder steam penetration and condensation, reducing sterilization effectiveness, the repeated vacuum and steam injection ensure no air remains in the chamber. This increases the contact area and contact time between steam and the items being sterilized, thereby enhancing the sterilization effect.

 

Pulsating vacuum sterilizers are widely used. In medical settings, they are mainly used for high-temperature sterilization of dressings, surgical instruments, and other items to ensure sterility and prevent cross-infection. In the pharmaceutical industry, they can sterilize bottle stoppers, tools, work clothes, and other items, and are also used by manufacturers of sanitary materials, dressings, instruments, and other products. In addition, they can be used for sterilization, fumigation, and drying of medicinal materials, as well as in food sterilization.

 

For safety, the sealing door is equipped with electrical and mechanical pressure safety interlock devices. When there is pressure inside the chamber, the door cannot be opened, ensuring the safety of both the equipment and the operator.
