An automatic carton sealing machine is one part of an automatic cartoning production line. Its main job is to seal cartons after products have been packed, completing the last step in product packaging.

Main components

Height adjustment mechanism

Pressing and aligning mechanism

Carton conveying mechanism

Width adjustment mechanism

Frame

Hot melt adhesive system

Working principle

After products are packed into cartons, the cartons enter the sealing machine through a conveyor chain, belt, or roller. The carton is handed to the conveying mechanism. Side clamping belts grip both sides of the carton and move it forward.

The front short flap bends automatically through the flap pressing frame. When the carton enters the support rollers of the sealing machine, the rear short flap triggers a detection signal, usually a photoelectric signal. This signal tells the flap striking cylinder to act, and the flap striking frame bends the rear short flap. At the same time, a signal tells the hot melt adhesive machine to spray adhesive automatically.

The carton continues forward. The left and right long flaps bend toward the center along the guide rods. The pressing mechanism belt presses the left and right long flaps at the same time, bonding the carton, flaps, and adhesive together. This completes the sealing and shaping action, the last step in product packaging: automatic carton sealing.

For automatic carton sealing machine builders, Hansheng Automation provides drawing-based precision machining for non-standard parts such as guide rods, flap pressing frames, side belt components, and changeover parts. Single-piece and small-batch orders are supported.
