Beverage processing equipment is usually divided by process into five main modules: raw material pretreatment, mixing and blending, filling and forming, sterilization, and finished product packaging. Utility systems support the whole line.
Raw material pretreatment
This unit handles receiving, washing, crushing, and juicing.
Cleaning and disinfection equipment: bubble washer, high-pressure spray washer, brush fruit washer. They remove mud, pesticide residue, and foreign matter from fruit and vegetable surfaces.
Crushing and juicing equipment: hammer crusher, screw juicer, belt juicer. They crush solid raw materials and extract base juice.
Screening and filtration equipment: vibrating screen, decanter centrifuge, bag filter. They separate coarse residue and suspended solids and adjust particle size.
Temporary storage and conveying equipment: belt conveyor, scraper conveyor, vertical storage tank. They move materials around the plant and hold them temporarily.
Mixing and blending
This unit handles precise ratio control and homogeneous mixing for different beverage formulas.
Dissolving and emulsifying equipment: dissolving tank, emulsifying mixing tank. Used to dissolve powder ingredients and emulsify oil-based ingredients.
Mixing and blending equipment: static mixer, inline batching system, dynamic mixing tank. Used for precise ratio mixing of different materials.
Inline purification equipment: activated carbon filter, UV sterilizer. Remove trace impurities and microorganisms during mixing.
Filling and forming
This unit fills prepared liquid into containers and seals them.
Filling equipment: atmospheric filler for low-viscosity still drinks, vacuum filler for carbonated drinks to prevent CO2 from escaping, pressure filler for high-viscosity or pulp-containing liquids.
Capping equipment: screw capper, press capper, pilfer-proof cap sealer. These seal the container.
Aseptic filling equipment: aseptic filler, aseptic packaging machine. Used for ambient drinks with a shelf life of six months or more.
Sterilization
This unit kills microorganisms in the liquid and packaging to support shelf life.
Pasteurization equipment: plate pasteurizer, tubular sterilizer. Used for low-temperature sterilization of heat-sensitive drinks.
UHT equipment: used for ambient drinks with a longer shelf life.
Container sterilization equipment: hydrogen peroxide sterilizer, UV sterilization tunnel. Used to pre-sterilize containers.
Cooling equipment: plate cooler, tubular cooler. Cool sterilized liquid quickly to filling temperature.
Finished product packaging
This unit handles outer packaging and labeling.
Marking equipment: automatic labeler, laser coder, thermal transfer coder. Apply batch number, production date, and other information.
Case packing and palletizing equipment: case packer, carton sealer, palletizer. Complete tray packaging and stacking.
Warehouse conveying equipment: roller conveyor, chain conveyor. Move finished goods and store them.
Utility systems
These systems support the full production line.
Pure water system: reverse osmosis equipment, EDI ultrapure water equipment. Meet water needs for cleaning, mixing, and sterilization.
Steam and heat supply system: steam boiler, temperature and pressure reducing unit. Provide stable heat for sterilization and heating.
Refrigeration system: chiller, chilled water piping. Used for carbonation of carbonated drinks and rapid cooling of liquid.
Automation control system: PLC cabinet, human-machine interface. Start and stop the line, adjust parameters, and monitor operation.
