There are some indexer manufacturers who do not consider the speed of the indexer when selecting the indexer, resulting in the whole turntable shaking under the high-speed operation of the automation system. This is what we call indexer running erratically. This situation can easily lead to the entire automation system. The decrease in accuracy can even affect the offset of the index positioning.

When the indexer is running at high speed, the input cam and output turret of the indexer switch from motion to stop, or the athlete switches from stop to start, which will produce a large inertia impact, and the switching point on the cam surface, and the mechanical matching motion of the output turret are the main reasons for the indexer jitter. The highest level of mechanical movement is not driven by the transmission. We are accustomed to saying that the input cam of the indexer pulls the output turret motion, and the actual mechanical movement should be a harmonious match between various components, requiring that the indexer cam and output turret must be designed at the beginning of the design from programming to processing, taking into account the harmonious combination of points, the line and surface between the camber cam and the roller. From the point of view of mechanical movement, the friction between the machines due to wear and tear is reduced to a greater extent.
During the operation of the indexer, the contact between the arc surface and the arc surface is unavoidable. Therefore, the use of materials and the precision of processing will have a greater impact on the connection and friction between the parts, the hardness of the material and the surface processing of the cam, and the smoothness of the indexer are the reasons why the components of the indexer vibrate when rotating. This is what we have always emphasized, the importance of the use of indexer materials and the use of processing equipment to the quality of the indexer itself. It is also worth mentioning that measuring equipment is also indispensable.
