The standard operating procedure for Changdian taping machine operators is divided into five core stages: pre-start preparation, startup and debugging, formal production, shutdown and finishing, and routine maintenance. The specific steps for each stage are as follows.
1. Pre-start Preparation
Compliance check: Wear anti-static work clothes, an anti-static wrist strap, and protective gloves to prevent electrostatic damage to electronic components and avoid material contamination. Check whether the emergency stop button and emergency braking device are effective, whether transmission belts and guide slots are damaged or jammed, and whether air and power connections are loose, leaking, or leaking air. Verify the production work order, component model, carrier tape width, and cover tape material to ensure material matching.
Material installation and adjustment: Install the empty carrier tape reel on the unwinding shaft and fix the side flanges to prevent the tape from running off track. Install the finished take-up reel and adjust the take-up tension regulator to the required process range. Clean the vibratory feeding bowl and adjust the vibration frequency to match the feeding speed of the corresponding components to avoid jamming.
2. Startup and Debugging
Turn on the main power and compressed air switch, press the equipment standby start key, and check whether the heat-sealing temperature, running tension, and other parameters shown on the display meet process standards.
Jog the machine to manually feed the tape so that the carrier tape slowly passes through the feeding position. Check whether components accurately fall into the carrier tape pockets without missing or offset placement.
Install the cover tape, start the heat-sealing test process, and pull the finished section to confirm that the cover tape is firmly sealed without peeling. Check that the sealing position has no offset and no missed sealing.
Fine-tune the heat-sealing temperature, tension parameters, and vibration frequency according to the test results until they fully meet process requirements, then lock the parameters.
3. Formal Production
After confirming that the parameters are locked, press the automatic run key. Observe the equipment throughout operation: the take-up reel speed is stable, the carrier tape does not jam or run off track, and there is no abnormal noise.
Perform a sampling inspection every 15 minutes: check component mounting direction and quantity, cover tape sealing quality, and whether the carrier tape is damaged.
If a jam or emergency stop alarm occurs, press the emergency stop button immediately. Troubleshoot and reset before resuming operation. Operation with a known fault is strictly prohibited.
4. Shutdown and Finishing
At the end of the shift, press the equipment stop key. After all transmission parts have completely stopped, turn off the air supply and main power.
Clean residual component waste and dust inside the equipment, and wipe the guide slots, vibratory bowl, and heat-sealing assembly.
Remove the finished tape reel, attach a production label indicating component model, batch, and production quantity, and transfer it to the warehouse.
Fill in the equipment operation record form, noting the shift parameters, fault conditions, and material consumption data.
5. Routine Maintenance
Clean the equipment surface and transmission parts before and after each shift to remove dust and residual material.
Check the transmission belt tension weekly and lubricate the guide roller bearings with the specified lubricating oil.
Calibrate the heat-sealing temperature and take-up tension parameters monthly, and test the trigger reliability of the emergency stop button.
If abnormal noise or parameter drift is found, stop the machine immediately and report to maintenance personnel. Private disassembly is strictly prohibited.
