Before a carton palletizer runs, operators should check the equipment, cartons, and pallets, then start the machine in manual test mode and automatic mode. If gripper mounting bases, conveyor rails, or connectors need to be modified for the site, we can custom machine them according to customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports single-piece and small-batch delivery.
Pre-start preparation
1.1 Equipment check: operators confirm that the power supply and air supply are normal. For pneumatic palletizers, air pressure should stay between 0.5 and 0.7 MPa. Check the conveyor belt, gripper, and lifting mechanism for jamming or looseness. Check whether the lubricant level is within the standard scale.
1.2 Carton and pallet check: cartons should be free of damage and deformation, and the stack size should be within the equipment working range. Pallets should be flat and free of cracks. The placement position should align with the equipment positioning reference, with an error of no more than 5 mm.
1.3 Parameter preset: adjust the palletizing layers, cartons per layer, and gripper opening distance according to carton size and weight. Operators enter the parameters into the equipment control system and test the running logic.
Startup and operation
2.1 Start the equipment: turn on the main power first, then start the main control switch. Wait for the control system to complete self-check. After no fault alarm appears, the machine enters standby.
2.2 Manual test: use manual mode to test gripper pickup, lifting, and horizontal movement. Confirm that the motion is smooth and free of collision. Adjust the gripping force to avoid damaging cartons.
2.3 Automatic operation: switch the equipment to automatic mode and start the feeding and conveying process. Operators monitor the equipment throughout the run. If an abnormality appears, press the emergency stop button immediately.
Precautions during operation
3.1 No one should stand or place objects in the equipment operating area. This prevents entanglement, faults, or safety accidents.
3.2 Operators should monitor the flatness of the carton stack in real time. If the stack tilts, stop the machine and adjust it to prevent collapse and cargo damage.
3.3 After a power failure or emergency stop, operators should check for faults and reset the alarm signal before restarting according to the startup procedure.
Shutdown and cleanup
4.1 After stopping feeding, wait for the equipment to finish the current palletizing batch. Press the stop button to shut down the main control system.
4.2 Turn off the main power and air supply. Clean carton debris and dust around the equipment. Perform simple maintenance on transmission and lubrication parts.
4.3 Fill in the equipment operation record form. Record the day's running hours, fault conditions, cargo batches, and other information.
Safety and emergency response
5.1 If the equipment jams or cargo falls, press the red emergency stop button immediately. Cut off the equipment power source before inspection and repair.
5.2 If leakage, abnormal noise, or other issues occur, contact professional maintenance personnel first. Do not disassemble live parts without authorization.
5.3 Keep fire extinguishing equipment near the machine to prevent fires caused by overheating or circuit short circuits.
Beyond gripper, conveyor, and connecting parts for carton palletizers, our custom precision parts machining capability also covers yacht precision parts, RC car precision parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, and filling machinery parts. Hansheng Automation can also machine non-standard parts for printing machinery, food machinery, and medical devices according to drawings, supporting drawing-based customization and small-batch delivery.
