The standard operating procedure for a shaped stand-up pouch packaging machine mainly includes four stages: equipment preparation, parameter setting, production operation, and end-of-run maintenance.
1. Pre-Production Preparation
Equipment inspection: Confirm that the power and air supply connections are normal, all moving parts are properly lubricated, and there are no loose parts or foreign objects.
Material installation: Thread the roll film along the correct path into the forming device, install the ink roll coding machine, and add ink.
Safety confirmation: Check that safety devices such as the emergency stop button and protective covers are functioning properly.
2. Parameter Setting and Adjustment
Temperature control setting: Set the sealing temperature according to the film material, typically in the range of 150–180℃.
Mechanical adjustment: Replace the forming device, vertical sealing unit, and horizontal sealing unit to match the specific pouch shape, and adjust the gripper position and stroke. For non-standard forming devices, sealing modules, and positioning components required for different pouch types, Hansheng Automation provides custom machining based on customer drawings to accommodate specific pouch shapes and dimensions.
Photoelectric registration: Use the electric eye to detect the film registration mark, ensuring accurate pattern positioning with an error of less than ±1mm.
3. Production Operation
Trial run: Jog the machine to produce several empty pouches, and check seal strength, pattern position, and pouch shape integrity.
Continuous production: Start the automatic operation mode, and regularly inspect pouch sealing performance. It is recommended to conduct pressure tests on samples every 30 minutes.
Abnormal handling: If film jamming or weak sealing occurs, stop the machine immediately, remove residual film material, and readjust.
4. Shutdown and Maintenance
Normal shutdown: Stop feeding first, wait until the hopper is empty, then turn off the heater, and finally cut off the main power supply.
Cleaning and maintenance: Clean residual film and carbon deposits from the horizontal sealing blade surface daily, and add food-grade grease to the drive chain weekly.
Precautions: Do not touch high-temperature parts until they have cooled below 60℃. Never clean the cutting area with bare hands.
