Corn seed small bag packaging machines are usually operated in three stages: preparation before startup, formal operation, and shutdown and finishing. Follow the equipment manual and refer to GB 16798-2010 Safety Requirements for Food Packaging Machinery.

Preparation before startup

(1) Equipment and environment checks
Check all fasteners for looseness, including connecting bolts on the feed hopper support, heat sealing mechanism, and drive rollers. Clean leftover seeds and foreign matter from inside the machine and the hopper to prevent jamming during operation. Confirm that the workshop is well ventilated, meets dust explosion prevention requirements for seed processing, and has no flammable or explosive materials nearby. Test the emergency stop button and safety door interlock. Do not remove guards at will.

(2) Material and consumable preparation
Install a packaging film roll that matches the machine size. Align it with the guide rollers and set film tension to 20 to 30 N to prevent tearing or wrinkling. Calibrate the measuring device: for cup measuring, adjust the cup volume; for weighing, complete tare calibration. Keep packaging weight error within ±0.5%. Clean impurities from corn seeds and feed them into the supply hopper. Prepare enough qualified material.

(3) Energy checks
Connect the machine to power and test the electrical system for leakage and abnormal alarms. For pneumatic models, confirm that air pressure is stable at 0.5 to 0.7 MPa with no leaks. For heat sealing models, preheat the sealing jaws in advance. Set PE film temperature to 120 to 160°C, and adjust according to the actual film.

Formal operation
Turn on the main control switch and set packaging parameters on the operation interface: bag length, single bag weight, and packaging speed. Speed is usually 30 to 80 bags/min and should be adjusted according to machine performance. Manually trigger 10 to 20 empty bag cycles. Check film feeding smoothness and heat seal pattern uniformity. Confirm there are no missed seals or broken bags. Start the feeding device. After the machine runs steadily, confirm that packaging accuracy and seal quality meet requirements. During operation, inspect every 15 to 30 minutes for weighing error, jamming noise, and stable sealing temperature. If an abnormality occurs, press the emergency stop button immediately and troubleshoot. Do not put hands into the feed opening, sealing area, or other moving parts. Do not open the safety guard while the machine is running. Do not change uncalibrated machine parameters without authorization.

Shutdown and finishing
Stop feeding. After all remaining seeds in the hopper are packed, turn off the operation switch. Wait for the sealing jaws to cool to room temperature, then turn off the air supply and main power. Clean leftover seeds and dust from inside the machine. Focus on removing material buildup from the measuring rollers, sealing jaws, and guide rollers. For long downtime, add lubricating oil to drive sprockets and bearings, cover the machine with a dust cover, and protect it from moisture and rust.

These maintenance points involve parts such as measuring rollers, heat sealing jaws, guide rollers, drive sprockets, bearings, bag clamping mechanisms, formers, and cutting knives. Hansheng Automation can precision-machine these seed packaging machinery parts in single pieces or small batches according to customer design drawings. We can use stainless steel, aluminum alloy, carbon steel, or engineering plastics, control tolerances to drawing requirements, and provide surface treatments such as anodizing, blackening, nickel plating, or powder coating.

Our custom precision machining capability is not limited to corn seed small bag packaging machines. In addition to seed packaging equipment parts and feed packaging equipment parts, we can machine filling machinery parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, printing machinery parts, yacht precision parts, RC car precision parts, food machinery parts, and medical device parts according to drawings.
