Micromotor structures can be broadly classified into three types: electromagnetic, combined, and non-electromagnetic. Different structural forms place different requirements on dimensional accuracy, material selection, and assembly methods.

 

Electromagnetic Micromotors
Basic components include the stator, rotor, armature winding, and brushes. Similar to conventional motors, but the overall design is more compact and suitable for operation in limited space. This type of motor requires high concentricity, roundness, and dimensional consistency for stator cores, rotor shafts, end caps, and brush holders. Tight fit tolerances are needed when machining miniature metal and insulating parts.

 

Combined Micromotors
Combined micromotors emphasize functional integration and multi-dimensional motion, such as combining a DC motor with a sensor, or combining X-direction and Y-direction linear motors for precise multi-axis linear motion. This type of structure requires high hole-position accuracy, flatness, and perpendicularity for sensor mounting brackets, encoder brackets, linear motor bases, and connection plates. Mounting and positioning errors can directly affect motion accuracy.

 

Non-electromagnetic Micromotors
Non-electromagnetic micromotors are similar in appearance to electromagnetic types, commonly cylindrical rotary products or square linear products, but their internal working principles are different. Housings, guide seats, insulating spacers, and other parts may use ceramic, engineering plastic, or lightweight alloy, depending on the specific driving method, with consideration for insulation, temperature resistance, or lightweight requirements.
