How to choose a precision planetary gearbox?
1, Power of the motor
The function of a precision planetary reducer is to increase the torque of the motor and reduce its speed, so we must know the power of the motor. Based on the power of the motor, we can determine the size of the precision servo planetary reducer. Common planetary gearbox sizes include 40, 60, 80, 120, 142, 160, 180, 220, and 280.
Generally speaking, motors with 100W and 200W are equipped with 40 or 60 speed reducers, motors with 400W are equipped with 60 or 80 speed reducers, and motors with 750W are equipped with 80 or 120 speed reducers. In the future, the torque that the reducer can withstand is sufficient
2, Reduction ratio
The reduction ratio of precision planetary gearbox is an important parameter of precision servo planetary gearbox. Jingbei planetary gearbox changes the speed, torque, and inertia moment through the reduction ratio.
The formula for the reduction ratio is the ratio of the input speed to the output speed of a precision planetary gearbox, that is, the reduction ratio of a planetary gearbox=input speed/output speed.
Common reduction ratios for precision servo planetary gearboxes
Level 1: 3, 4, 5, 8, 10
Level 2: 9, 12, 15, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 60, 80, 100
Among them, the reduction ratios of 6 and 7 are relatively rare.
3, Accuracy
Accuracy is also an important parameter of planetary gearboxes, also known as return clearance/backlash.
Return clearance refers to the clearance between gears, which is a performance parameter of Jingbei planetary reducer.
The lower the return clearance, the higher the transmission accuracy of the planetary gearbox, and the more expensive the precision planetary gearbox is, the higher its transmission efficiency.
The unit of return clearance is arcmin, generally referred to as high-precision type below 3 and low precision type above 12.
