Common causes of chain deformation include the following.
Insufficient load capacity of the conveyor chain shaft
If the conveyor chain shaft has poor load capacity, deformation affects the conveyor chains on both sides. This is a design issue, and the conveyor load capacity cannot support the weight of the goods. Operators should check whether the chain shaft and bearing housings are deformed and replace parts with matching load capacity if needed.
Asymmetric chain tension
If chain tension is asymmetric, the two sides are stressed unevenly during conveying and deform. Operators should adjust the tensioning device so both sides have the same tension.
Poor fit between chain and sprocket
If the chain and sprocket fit poorly, tooth skipping and similar problems occur during conveying. Operators should replace the sprocket and chain to restore the fit.
When designing a heat shrink machine, factors such as goods load, conveying capacity, chain pull, and heat deformation must be fully considered. If parts such as sprockets, chain guides, or bearing housings are worn, we can machine replacements according to customer drawings and support single-piece and small-batch production. Hansheng Automation machines to drawings, with materials and surface treatments selected for the actual working conditions.
Our custom precision parts machining capability is not limited to far-infrared heat shrink packaging machines. Hansheng Automation can machine filling machinery parts, tobacco packaging machinery parts, food machinery parts, and printing machinery parts to drawings. We can also machine yacht precision parts, RC car precision parts, and medical device parts. We machine to drawings with attention to dimensional consistency and delivery responsiveness.
