How long is the service life of the gearbox?
Many customers always have a question when using a gearbox, how long is the service life of the gearbox? We cannot give a definite answer to this question. Because different environments and users have different attitudes towards reducers, if we can maintain the use of reducers well, they can have a long service life. Below, let's talk about the issue of reducer service life.
The service life of a reducer is not only related to its quality, but also to its daily use. Pay attention to the maintenance and upkeep of the gearbox during normal use, which is crucial for extending its service life.
When a new gearbox is used for the first time, it usually needs to be replaced with new oil after 7-14 days of operation. Regular inspections should also be carried out during future use. If impurities are found in the oil, it must be replaced at any time. Alternatively, using a gearbox cleaning and maintenance machine can effectively help us reduce impurities inside the gearbox, greatly reducing the time for replacing internal lubricating oil. For long-term running reducers, new oil should be replaced every 2-3 months. If the daily operation is less than 8 hours, it should be replaced every 4-6 months. The reducer is not short of oil and generally will not be damaged during normal operation, as long as it is regularly maintained.
