An automatic cap sorter uses mechanical structure and photoelectric control together to bring bottle caps into a uniform orientation.

During operation, the machine rotates at high speed. Caps are loaded into the hopper and enter the cap sorting track. A sensor identifies cap orientation. Caps facing the wrong way are pushed back by a baffle or pusher mechanism to the sorting zone to re-queue. Inside the sorting zone, rollers or track grooves matched to the cap profile restrict cap position and attitude, releasing only caps in the correct orientation. A timer controls the action cycle, pushing and releasing at the right moments.

Caps facing the correct way exit along the discharge track. Photoelectric detection confirms position before they are delivered above the bottle mouth for capping. Caps come out in consistent orientation without mix-ups or overlap.

For cap sorting rollers, track grooves, baffles, and pusher mechanisms, we can machine to customer drawings, for single pieces or small batches, in food-grade stainless steel or engineering plastics, with contact surfaces polished to drawing.

Beyond cap sorter parts, our precision component machining capability also covers non-standard parts for filling machinery, pharmaceutical packaging equipment, and daily chemical packaging lines, as well as precision structural parts for yachts and RC race cars. Hansheng Automation machines single pieces or small batches to customer drawings, with material, tolerance, and surface finish specified by the drawing.
