A vane-type vacuum sausage stuffer fills meat batter into casings under vacuum. A vacuum pump lowers the pressure inside the filling tube, and rotating vanes push material forward. The combination reduces air pockets and gives a more even fill. Hansheng Automation can machine replacement vanes, filling tubes, and sealing parts to customer drawings when original components wear or need modification.
Working Principle
Vacuum Source
The main vacuum pump creates a low-pressure environment inside the filling tube. Lower pressure removes air from the meat batter as it moves through the machine. This limits fat oxidation and protein hydrolysis, which helps preserve color, flavor, and structure.
Material Feed by Vanes
The vanes push material from the feed inlet into the filling tube. As the tube rotates, material is delivered into the casing in a steady flow. The vane action gives a continuous fill rather than a pulsing one.
Air Removal
An exhaust valve releases air that would otherwise remain in the casing. Removing this air prevents bubbles from forming inside the filled product. The result is a tighter, more uniform fill with a cleaner surface.
Main Components
Main Vacuum Pump
The main vacuum pump provides the vacuum source. It maintains the low-pressure condition that the filling process needs. Pump condition affects both air removal and filling consistency.
Front and Rear Pressure Chambers
The front and rear pressure chambers work with the vanes to create a pressure difference. This pressure difference pushes material into the filling tube. The chamber design also helps keep the flow stable during continuous operation.
Vanes
The vanes are the key drive parts. They rotate and move material from the feed inlet to the filling tube. Vane wear affects filling weight and product texture. When replacement vanes are needed, we can machine them to drawing.
Casing Closure Unit
The closure unit seals the casing. It keeps the filled product from leaking and supports a clean, secure end. The closure step should match the casing type and the production speed.
Lifting Handle
The lifting handle adjusts filling pressure and casing length. This lets the operator adapt the machine to different product specifications without changing major parts.
Advantages
High Production Efficiency
The machine automates the filling process. It reduces manual handling and raises production speed. Continuous operation keeps output steady through the shift.
Good Filling Result
Vacuum technology removes air bubbles. The vanes push material evenly, so the casing is filled tightly and the texture is consistent from one sausage to the next.
Simple Operation
The design is straightforward. The control panel adjusts filling length and pressure. Operators can learn the settings quickly.
Hygiene and Safety
The machine uses stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant materials. Surfaces are easy to clean, which lowers the risk of cross-contamination between batches. Maintenance follows the manual and the plant hygiene plan.
Operating Notes
Clean the Machine
Clean the machine thoroughly before use. Follow the manual for maintenance and care. Leftover material can affect hygiene and product quality.
Prepare the Material
Place meat filling and casings in the correct positions. Check that material quality meets production standards before starting.
Set the Controls
Use the control panel to adjust filling tube speed and direction. This keeps material moving smoothly and matches the casing being used.
Check Safety Systems
Inspect the electrical system and vacuum pump on a regular schedule. Confirm that safety devices work correctly before each production run.
Applications
The vane-type vacuum sausage stuffer is widely used in food processing, especially in meat product manufacturing. It produces sausages, dried sausages, and similar products in various shapes and sizes. It suits plants that need a consistent fill, good color, and a clean casing surface.
Maintenance and Replacement Parts
Regular maintenance should cover vanes, filling tubes, seals, vacuum pump parts, and the closure unit. Worn vanes affect fill weight and texture. A weak vacuum pump reduces air removal and can shorten shelf life. When replacement parts are needed, Hansheng Automation can machine non-standard components to drawing.
Our precision custom machining capability is not limited to sausage stuffers. Hansheng Automation also produces parts for medical devices, printing machinery, and filling equipment, as well as precision components for yachts and RC cars. From single parts to small batch runs, we machine to customer drawings and deliver parts for assembly.
