Integral coupling connection

 

The integral coupling is used to connect the harmonic reducer and transmission shaft in an integral manner, suitable for situations with limited connection space. The installation method is as follows:

1, Clamp the coupling onto the output shaft of the harmonic reducer and fix it onto the output shaft with screws. Note that after installation, all screws should be checked one by one to ensure they are tightened, in order to avoid safety accidents caused by loose screws.

2, Clamp the other end of the integral coupling onto the drive shaft and tightly connect it.

The advantage of integral couplings is that they are tightly connected and not easily loosened, making them suitable for situations that require frequent start stop during operation. However, due to the fact that the harmonic reducer and transmission shaft are connected in a holistic manner, the transmission shaft must be on the same axis as the harmonic reducer, thus limiting its applicability.

 

Split type coupling connection

 

Split type coupling connects the harmonic reducer and transmission shaft in a separate way, and is achieved through the coupling connector. It is suitable for situations with large connection space and inconsistent axis and angle. The installation method is as follows:

1, Fix the coupling connector onto the output shaft of the harmonic reducer and secure it with screws. Be sure to check if the screws are tightened to ensure the fixation of the coupling connection head.

2, Clamp the coupling connector at the other end onto the drive shaft and tightly connect it.

The advantage of a split type coupling is its flexible connection, which is suitable for situations with large connection space and inconsistent axis and angle. However, due to the large number of connectors, installation and maintenance are more complicated.
