Cam divider motion overview
The so-called indexing device is an intermittent split rotary motion that performs (stop → index → stop → index).
1. Stop: The input shaft is still in motion, and the output shaft enters a non-rotating interval.
2. Split: The input shaft is still in motion, and the output shaft is also in a rotating motion state. The output shaft is split once and then stops.
3. At any time of stopping, processing, assembly, inspection and other operations can be performed.
The rotating disk on the output shaft can be used as the main power source of the automatic rotating machine. If a sprocket or pulley is installed on the output shaft and matched with a chain or belt, the assembly line type automatic machine can be intermittently driven.
The rocker arm device is a device in which the input shaft rotates continuously at a constant speed, and the output shaft reciprocates. In addition to simple reciprocating motion, it can also achieve a certain degree of stop in the middle position of the rotation. The position or rotation angle can be set arbitrarily within the allowable range. A rocker is installed on the output shaft, and a wheel is installed at the front end. The rocker is used to make it move in a straight line, and it can be used as a transportation device.
