Characteristics of planetary gear reducer

High torque and impact resistance: The structure of planetary gears is different from the operation mode of traditional planetary gears. Traditional gears rely only on a very small number of contact points between two gears for compression drive, and all loads are concentrated on the few gear surfaces in contact, which can easily cause friction and fracture of the gears. The planetary gearbox has six larger gear contact surfaces with a 360 degree uniform load, and multiple gear surfaces jointly and uniformly bear instantaneous impact loads, making it more capable of withstanding higher torque impacts. This holiday and major bearing components will not be damaged or broken due to high loads.

Are servo motors and reducers a necessary combination?

Small size and light weight: Traditional gear reducers are designed with multiple sets of gears of different sizes offset to staggered drive reduction, because the reduction ratio must double the number of two gears, and the size of the gears must have a certain distance between meshing. Therefore, the gearbox contains a large space, especially when the combination of high-speed ratios requires the combination of two or more reduction gearboxes, the structural strength is relatively weakened, and the length of the gearbox is lengthened, resulting in a huge volume and weight. The structure of the planetary reducer can be repeatedly connected according to the required number of segments, and multiple segments can be completed separately.
