A case packer completes a sequence from flat blank to finished case. It also has to match the product, the packaging format, and the line speed. The basic requirements are as follows.

Pick and form the case
The case packer must pick case blanks automatically and form them to the required shape, including bottom flaps. The case structure must be complete and strong enough for loading. Suction cup mounts, fixtures, forming rails, and push plates need accurate positioning. We machine suction cup mounts, forming rails, case push plates, and divider locating parts from customer drawings. Hansheng Automation supports single-piece and small-batch custom machining, with material and tolerances controlled by the drawing.

Product collection and case loading
The case packer must collect and arrange products efficiently, such as cartons, glass bottles, plastic bottles, metal cans, and flexible pouches. It then loads them into cartons, plastic cases, or pallets in the required count and arrangement. When the carton has dividers, loading accuracy must be higher.

Adaptability to different packaging formats
The case packer must handle multiple packaging formats, including rigid and flexible packaging, to suit different product needs.

Accuracy and speed
The machine must keep high accuracy during case loading so products go into the case correctly. It also needs enough speed to improve overall packaging efficiency.

Level of automation
A case packer should be highly automated. Its drive and control systems use mechanical, pneumatic, and photoelectric integration to reduce manual intervention and improve production efficiency and product quality.

Auxiliary equipment
Automatic case packers usually include sealing and strapping equipment. These finish the final packaging steps automatically and further protect packaging quality and product safety.

Beyond case packer parts, our drawing-based custom machining also covers filling machinery, tobacco packaging machinery, medical devices, printing equipment, food processing lines, yacht hardware, and RC car structural parts. We machine single pieces and small batches to drawing for equipment builders and production lines. We focus on precision machined parts, not complete machines.
