The composition of harmonic reducer

 

Comprising just three primary components-the Wave Generator, Flex Spline, and Circular Spline-the Robotic Cycloidal Gearboxes have a straightforward structure. Together with its original running ideas, this design helps the reducer to reach very high reduction ratios while keeping a small and light weight structure. This effective arrangement makes the harmonic reducer perfect for many different precise uses since it lets it provide outstanding performance.

Zero backlash is one of the main performance characteristics of this technology since it removes any gear play or slippage, so guaranteeing precise movement. Apart from that, the harmonic reducer has a great torque-to---weight ratio, which gives significant torque in respect to its compact, light weight form. This is especially helpful in uses where limited space is needed but high performance is demanded.

The unique operating ideas of the Strain Wave Gears are what provide the Harmonic Drive its outstanding performance, including great positional accuracy. The Composition Of Harmonic Reducer

Usually connected to the input shaft, the Wave Generator consists of a thin ball bearing set on an elliptical hub, acting as a very effective torque converter.

Slightly smaller in pitch dimension than the Circular Spline, the Flex Spline is a flexible, thin-walled cylindrical cup with external teeth. It fits above the Wave Generator and forms elliptically from it.

The rigid ring known as the Circular Spline interacts with the teeth of the Flex Spline along the Wave Generator's main axis by means of internal teeth. Usually fixed to the housing, it boasts two additional teeth than the Flex Spline.

  • Please use the specified method for installation

 

The installation method shall be implemented correctly according to the product manual. f it is not installed correctly, it may lead to vibration, reduction of accuracy, shortening of service life, damage and other faults.

 

  • Use the specified lubricant

 

Failure to use the specified lubricant may result in reduced product life

 

  • Please do not disassemble or reassemble the product, otherwise its original performance will not be restored

 

  • Do not exceed the allowable torque when using; otherwise it may cause product failure.

Precaution

 

  1. When the reducer is used, if the output end is always horizontal and downward, the grease injected into the inner wall space of the fexspline shall exceed the meshing tooth surface.
  2.

Static sealing shall be adopted between the installation plane of circular spline and its connector and the installation plane of flexspline and its connector, so as to ensure that the grease will not leak during the use of the reducer and avoid the damage of the reducer when working with little or no oil

  5. During installation, please do not knock the parts of the reducer with hard objects or pres them vigorously to avoid damage to the parts.
