This round of financing was exclusively led by Ant Group, and a number of old shareholders such as Hillhouse Venture Capital, IDG Capital, Beijing Robot Industry Fund, Baidu Venture Capital, and Tongge Venture Capital continued to increase their weight, fully demonstrating the high recognition of the company's technical strength and growth potential by the capital market and shareholders.
It should be noted that in just one year, Xinghaitu has successfully completed four rounds of financing, with a cumulative financing amount of nearly 100 million US dollars, and has quickly become one of the top embodied intelligent startups in China.
It is reported that this round of funds will be mainly used to accelerate the research and development and verification of the embodied basic model, further drive the iterative upgrading of the trinity of Xinghaitu ontology, intelligence and commercialization, and become the world's leading embodied intelligence enterprise.

Xinghaitu was established in September 2023, the founder Gao Jiyang was born in 92, and the physics competition was sent to the Department of Electronics of Tsinghua University, and then studied under Professor Ram at the USC IRIS Computer Vision Laboratory of the University of Southern California, completed his doctoral studies in computer vision in 3 years, and joined Waymo and Momenta after graduation.

The R1 can effectively perform all-scene, all-terrain, and all-space passage, and complete operation tasks such as moving boxes, picking up parts, opening and closing doors, and pressing buttons.
At the beginning of January this year, Xinghaitu launched the R1 series of humanoid general-purpose robots, including the data acquisition double-arm mobile platform R1Lite, the full-size humanoid robot R1 and the new generation of humanoid general-purpose robot R1Pro, with a maximum of 26 degrees of freedom for the whole body of the robot, a maximum load of 10kg for both arms, and a price starting at 199,000 yuan.
