On October 27, Xiaopeng Huitian Flying Car Intelligent Manufacturing Base officially started, which is the world's first flying car factory that uses modern assembly lines for large-scale mass production, which will be used to produce the flying body part of the split flying car "Land Aircraft Carrier", with a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 units.
On September 19, the first Type Qualification Board (TCB) meeting of Xpeng Huitian's "Land Aircraft Carrier" X3-F aircraft (X3-F is the internal code) was held in Guangzhou, marking the X3-F fully entering the airworthiness review stage.
According to IT House, the "land aircraft carrier" is divided into two parts: land travel body and flight body, the flight body is an electric six-rotter six-propeller configuration aircraft, the main structure of the fuselage and the blades are made of carbon fiber materials, taking into account high strength and light weight, and the 270° panoramic cockpit provides users with a broad flight vision. The flying body of the "Land Carrier" supports both manual and automatic piloting modes. Xpeng Huitian pioneered a single-stick control system, which allows even zero-based users to easily master flight skills. In the automatic driving mode, it can realize one-key take-off and landing, automatic route planning and automatic flight, and has multi-dimensional intelligent air perception and obstacle avoidance assistance, landing vision assistance and other functions.
The pre-sale of the "Land Aircraft Carrier" is scheduled to start at the end of this year.
