"Maybe ten years from now, maybe even longer, one day, embodied intelligent robots will coexist with humans, forming a new type of society in which humans and machines cooperate and coexist." At the recent "HelloRobot" 2025 AI robot global conference held by RoboSense, Qiu Chunchao, CEO of Suteng Juchuang, made such a declaration.

As the concept of embodied intelligence and AI robots heat up, more and more players have begun to enter the intelligent robot track. As the main player in the lidar track, Suteng Juchuang demonstrated for the first time the strategy and landing results of its robot technology platform company at this press conference, including a variety of digital lidars used in vehicle and robot scenarios, Active Camera solutions, a new category of robot vision, and the second-generation dexterous hand Papert 2.0.
Among them, the first-generation Papert dexterous hand made its debut at the Hi-Tech Fair in November 2024, and the robot is equipped with 17 multi-axis linkage joints, 8 intelligent drive degrees of freedom, and has a 3-degree-of-freedom thumb and 2-degrees-of-freedom index finger, so it can handle more complex tasks exponentially by grabbing, placing and flipping switches.
With 20 degrees of freedom, a maximum load of 5 kilograms, and a total of 14 force sensors on your fingertips, fingertips, and palms, the Papert 2.0 can handle everything from picking up eggs and screws to hitting impact drills and lifting heavy objects.

Qiu Chunchao, CEO of Suteng Juchuang, pointed out that in the era of intelligent robots, Suteng Juchuang has positioned itself as a provider of incremental parts and solutions for intelligent robots, developed general robot movement and operation solutions based on the whole machine, and launched incremental parts of intelligent robots suitable for various scenarios, lowering the threshold and shortening the cycle for the robot industry, and enabling the robot industry to accelerate commercialization.
In the past few years, with the rapid development of the new energy vehicle and intelligent driving market, Suteng Juchuang, which started with the R&D and production of lidar, is more well-known in the industry as a "lidar supplier".
According to a recent research report released by SPDB International, China's lidar manufacturers are now leading in the automotive application market, and Hesai and Sutar have won nearly 80% of the world's fixed-point cooperation, laying a solid foundation for the basic market of shipments in the next 2~3 years.
Among them, Hesai Technology's LiDAR delivery exceeded 100,000 units in December 2024, becoming the first LiDAR company in the world to achieve a monthly delivery volume of more than 100,000 units. According to the Q3 financial report of Suteng Juchuang, the cumulative sales of lidar in the first three quarters of 2024 will reach 381,900 units, with an average monthly sales of more than 40,000 units, which is still some distance from the former.
In addition, Tesla, Xpeng and other companies have adhered to the pure vision solution in the field of autonomous driving and have achieved great results, and the demand for lidar has also posed a challenge, which has made the market begin to re-evaluate the role and value of lidar in autonomous driving.

Therefore, the information conveyed by Suteng Juchuang through this conference also shows the company's intention to find a new development path by adding to the robot industry and increasing R&D investment in AI. It is reported that at the upcoming 2025 CES exhibition in Las Vegas, the United States, the company will allow visitors to experience these new technologies first-hand.
