As the largest sub category in the field of cleaning appliances, floor cleaning robots have developed rapidly in recent years. At the same time, the domestic market competition is fierce, but the overseas market provides new growth space. Robot vacuum cleaners are setting their sights on overseas markets, especially in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region, where market penetration rates are relatively low and growth potential is enormous.

The export status of Chinese robotic vacuum cleaners is very positive, with both export scale and export prices showing a trend of increasing year by year. According to data from 2023, the export volume of coding for robotic vacuum cleaners reached 405 million units, with a total export value of 6.507 billion US dollars.

Chinese robotic vacuum cleaner companies such as Ecovacs and Stone Technology are continuously expanding their overseas markets, with rapid growth in export scale and continuous improvement in their international competitiveness.

Ecovacs' sales revenue in the European market has significantly increased, and the number of Tianke brand stores in Target retail channels in the United States has exceeded 1800. Stone Technology has established overseas companies in the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, South Korea, and opened online brand stores on platforms such as Amazon, Home Depot, Target, Bestbuy, and WalMart. Its products are distributed in over 170 countries and regions worldwide.

In 2023, the global market for intelligent floor cleaning robots will have a shipment volume of 18.52 million units and sales revenue of 7.8 billion US dollars. China and the United States, as the top two markets, will account for nearly half of the global share of shipments in 2023.

Entering 2024, Chinese sweeping robot manufacturers are accelerating their "going global" pace, especially in developed country markets, where domestic versatile sweeping robots quickly seize market share with their performance advantages.

According to IDC data, in the first quarter, the global shipment of intelligent floor cleaning robots was 4.554 million units, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%. China's shipment of floor cleaning robots accounted for 63% of the global market share.

In the second quarter, the global shipment of intelligent floor cleaning robots was 5.117 million units, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%. Among them, Chinese manufacturer Stone Technology ranked first in the world in terms of shipment volume in the second quarter, and for the first time, Chinese manufacturers have topped the market for intelligent floor cleaning robots.

From a pattern perspective, in recent years, the field of robotic vacuum cleaners has become somewhat crowded. Although the shipment volume and average price of robotic vacuum cleaners have steadily increased in both domestic and international markets, the growth rate has slowed down significantly. At the same time, the trend of industry concentration has become more apparent, with industry leaders occupying the main market share and multiple leading brands competing, leading to intense market competition.

Overall, Chinese robotic vacuum cleaners have achieved significant results in expanding their overseas markets, with technological innovation and improved product capabilities giving Chinese brands an advantage in global market competition. Meanwhile, the export prices of Chinese floor cleaning robots have been increasing year by year, demonstrating the competitiveness of Chinese products in the international market.

In the future, with the further improvement of product strength and the in-depth development of overseas markets, the global market share of Chinese robotic vacuum cleaners is expected to continue to increase.
