Recently, the accelerated evolution of humanoid robot company announced the completion of a series of financing of 100 million yuan. This round of financing is jointly funded by the other side of the times, CMBC International, Zhongguancun Science City and iCANX Fund, followed by the old shareholder Innova Angel, and the funds will be mainly used to build general ontology and improve software development capabilities.
It is understood that Accelerated Evolution was established in 2023 and is committed to the research and development of a more actionable humanoid robot ontology and an easy-to-develop operation control development platform.
Cheng Hao, the founder and CEO of the company, graduated from Tsinghua University under the tutelage of Professor Zhao Mingguo, and has studied humanoid robots for many years during his studies and has rich experience in research and development. Not only that, he is a former senior executive of the byte system, and he also has experience in the management of large-scale production and research teams and the commercialization of complex businesses.
The team has rare R&D experience in the field of bipedal/humanoid, and its members have rich experience in operation control algorithms and humanoid ontologies. Based on this, the company has built a prototype of a fully self-developed humanoid robot in less than 3 months since its establishment - using force-controlled joints and bipedal design, hoping to develop a humanoid robot that is "the most reliable, the most stable, can complete many complex actions, and has high enough precision".
Previously, Accelerated Evolution has completed three rounds of financing.
At present, Accelerated Evolution has developed the bipedal humanoid robot "Booster T1", which is 1.1m tall and weighs 29kg, and shows sufficient athletic ability and stability during exercise.
At this year's World Robot Conference, Accelerated Evolution showcased a number of scenarios of robots playing soccer - this robot can not only perform push-ups, voice control hand throws, soccer balls and other wonderful performances, but also achieve continuous and long-term stable operation.
In terms of commercialization, Accelerated Evolution has already placed commercial orders for humanoid robots, and will be mass-produced and delivered in small batches within the year, and a new round of financing has been officially launched.
