BEIJING, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Robots can not only twist Yangge happily, but also climb steps and run in the snow without stopping. The Guodi Co-construction Embodied Intelligent Robot Innovation Center continues to "evolve" the cerebellum of its self-developed humanoid robot "Tiangong", and strengthens its ability to move on complex terrain such as snow, stairs, and sand. At present, it has achieved a variety of abilities such as "134 steps to climb steadily" and "run in the snow without falling".

According to the engineer, through the embodied "brain" and embodied "cerebellum" contained in the multi-energy embodied agent "Kaiwu", Tiangong can realize perceptual walking, can see the terrain in front of it in real time while traveling, and immediately generate an accurate analysis of the environment, adjust the whole body movements and gait, and realize the free response to randomly changing step road conditions.
