On August 9th, at the 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC), Shenzhen Cyborg Robotics Co., Ltd. unveiled the Cyborg-H01, the world's first lightweight, heavy-load bionic dexterous hand, causing a stir in the industry. This core component weighs only 500 grams yet can carry a 10 kg payload, overcoming the technical challenges of dexterous execution for heavy-duty humanoid robots and enabling my country to achieve a historic breakthrough in the core field of industrial robotics, moving from lagging behind to leading the field.

In terms of performance, the Cyborg-H01 offers significant advantages. It achieves 0.1N force control accuracy with 16 degrees of freedom. Compared to similar international products like the Tesla Optimus Gen-2 (28 DOF) and the UK ShadowHand (19 DOF), it offers superior stability and adaptability in extreme environments, making it precisely suited for high-risk scenarios such as power inspections and nuclear power plant maintenance. A full-scale humanoid robot equipped with this dexterous hand can carry a 20 kg payload with both arms and maintain a four-hour battery life. Its "shoulder-chest-knee" multi-partial load-bearing system reduces local joint loads by 40%. In field tests at a Shenzhen substation, its operating efficiency was three times higher than manual labor, and it achieved zero accidents.
Dr. Dong Dianbiao, founder of Cyborg, stated that this breakthrough was due to a favorable ecosystem of policies, industrial chains, talent, and capital. This technology will drive multi-dimensional change: in the innovation chain, it will encourage local suppliers to develop specialized sensors; in the value chain, it will reduce the cost of heavy-duty robot systems, lowering the barrier to intelligent transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises; and in the employment chain, it will replace high-risk jobs and foster new professions such as robot operation and maintenance.
Cyborg has already taken the lead in developing relevant group standards and has partnered with over 200 companies to build a collaborative innovation platform, which is highly aligned with the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Robotics Industry." The launch of this bionic dexterous hand not only demonstrates the strength of China's intelligent manufacturing but will also reshape the global robotics industry landscape.
