According to data from the Market Supervision Big Data Center, as of the end of December 2024, there were a total of 451700 intelligent robot industry enterprises in China with a registered capital of 644.4557 billion yuan. The number of enterprises increased by 206.73% compared to the end of 2020 and 19.39% compared to the end of 2023, showing a steady upward trend.

From the perspective of industry distribution, intelligent robot industry enterprises are mainly concentrated in scientific research and technology services, information transmission, software and information technology services, and wholesale and retail industries, accounting for nearly 80% of all enterprises. From the perspective of regional distribution, the intelligent robot industry in China exhibits a clear gradient feature. The eastern region, with its unique geographical advantages, strong scientific research capabilities, and complete industrial chain supporting facilities, has attracted more than two-thirds of the intelligent robot industry enterprises to gather here, accounting for 66.06% of the total number of enterprises, forming a "golden zone" for the intelligent robot industry. The distribution of enterprises in the central and northwest regions is relatively balanced, accounting for 15.33% and 14.97% respectively. The distribution of enterprises in Northeast China is relatively small, accounting for only 3.64%. This regional distribution pattern not only reflects the stage differences in China's regional economic development, but also provides broad space for the balanced layout and coordinated development of future industries.
