As the latest achievement of Tesla's humanoid robot project, the third-generation Optimus has achieved breakthroughs in coordination and complex task execution capabilities, and can complete household tasks such as folding clothes and taking care of children. Musk previously said that the V3 design used in this version already has all the degrees of freedom required for humanoid robots, and the design is "quite exquisite" and does not require fundamental adjustments.

Looking back at the iteration process, the second-generation Optimus is 10 kg lighter than the first generation, the walking speed is increased by 30%, the hand degrees of freedom are increased to 22, and the total degrees of freedom are 28. The mass production plan shows that Tesla plans to produce 10,000 to 12,000 parts in 2025, 100,000 units in 2026, and the production capacity target is 500,000 units in 2027.

The market prospects are broad. Data shows that the scale of the Chinese market is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan in 2030, and the global market may reach 1.12 trillion yuan in 2035. Tesla's layout is expected to accelerate the popularization of humanoid robots.
