Recently, the FP-985 "Taurus" large fixed-wing unmanned transport aircraft system of Aerospace Times Feipeng Co., Ltd. was released for the first time, with a maximum take-off weight of 5.7 tons and an effective commercial load of more than 2 tons. This is also the largest general-purpose unmanned transport aircraft in the country at present.

The "Taurus" unmanned transport aircraft system is independently developed by Aerospace Times Feipeng, and adopts a completely forward design to meet the transportation needs of large load, low cost and high efficiency. At the same time, it has completed a number of tests such as plateau flight, static test, environmental adaptability, etc., and has the ability to operate reliably in all weather and multiple weathers, and can operate in complex terrains such as mountains, islands, plateaus, as well as harsh environments such as high cold, high temperature, high humidity, rain and snow, with strong adaptability.
"The system has a wide range of application prospects in the fields of feeder logistics and emergency rescue, which can significantly improve the efficiency of mountain and cross-sea transportation, and is of great significance to China's construction of a more intelligent, efficient and convenient unmanned air logistics transportation system and aviation emergency rescue system." The relevant person in charge of Feipeng in the aerospace era said that since its first flight in 2022, the "Taurus" has flown a total of 10,000 kilometers, and it is the only unmanned transport aircraft system in the 2-ton commercial ranks that has accumulated a lot of data experience.
As a project of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense to transform advanced technology achievements in Suzhou, the Aerospace Times Feipeng R&D headquarters and industrial UAV manufacturing center are located in Kunshan, building the first industrial-grade small and medium-sized UAV advanced manufacturing industrial base based on 5G communication technology in China. The company focuses on the independent research and development of large-scale fixed-wing, medium-sized vertical composite wing and small multi-rotor unmanned transport aircraft systems, builds three series of unmanned transport aircraft products of "double 1000, double 100 and double 10", and creates a three-stage unmanned transportation system of "trunk-branch-end", with an annual design capacity of 1,000 medium-sized UAVs and 10,000 small UAVs.
