Beckhoff has launched a new generation of compact EtherCAT high-density analog terminal modules, significantly improving the performance of IP20 I/O products in this category. The newly launched 7 terminal modules have up to 8 channels and 16 bit resolution, with a wide range of applications and extremely high cost-effectiveness.

The new generation analog terminal module includes EL4374, which is Beifu's first hybrid analog input/output terminal module (10 V/20 mA or -20/0/+4 to+20 mA), with a conversion rate of 2 ksps per channel. Two inputs and outputs can be individually parameterized for current or voltage modes through TwinCAT (via CoE). This terminal module supports ± 107% range extension and also supports processing sensor signals within the range according to the NAMUR NE43 standard. The maximum output can reach 107% of the weighing value, and a maximum load of 750 Ω is allowed when the output power is 20 mA.

The EL3072 and EL3074 analog input terminal modules have the same function, with a resolution of 16 bits (previously 12 bits), and can be used as a universal input for 10 V/20 mA. EL3072 has 2 separate inputs for parameter settings, while EL3074 has 4. Another new model is the 8-channel high-density terminal module EL3078. The EL4072, EL4074, and EL4078 analog output terminal modules have higher resolution and the number of channels has been expanded to 8.
