On July 12th, Kaisheng Technology Yaohua Zhonglian Glass, a subsidiary of China National Building Materials Group, successfully produced 15mm × 3.66m × 24m ultra white glass in one go, breaking through core technical problems such as defect control, annealing quality, complete edge removal, lifting and storage, and breaking the world record for original ultra white glass sheet manufacturing. The single piece glass covers an area of 87.8 square meters and weighs 3.3 tons, becoming another successful practice for Zhonglian Glass to adjust product structure and develop new products, opening another new chapter.
Since June this year, Zhonglian Glass has focused on product transformation and upgrading, committed to tackling the technology of ultra white, ultra thick, and ultra large plate glass, closely focusing on core bottleneck technology, formulating meticulous production plans, continuously improving technical indicators, and implementing various production guarantee measures.
By adjusting the temperature of the tin bath outlet, annealing curve, parameters of the cross cutting machine and edge bending machine equipment, installing a crane arm, and planning storage locations, we have overcome the difficulties that may occur during the production process, such as board surface defects, explosion, uneven cutting and edge bending, and difficulties in lifting and placing pieces by the crane. We have successfully produced ultra white large glass plates of different thicknesses and specifications.
This production is another successful practice of improving and innovating the production technology of ultra white, ultra thick, and ultra large glass products based on a comprehensive summary of the successful production experience of 12mm × 3.66m × 24m ultra white and ultra large glass panels on June 29th. The relevant process technology will be applied for national patents.
On the day of trial production, with a crisp "bang" sound, a super white 15mm thick plate that met various technical indicators was optimized and cut into 3.66m × 24m. It drove along the acceleration roller towards the rear end, and after being steadily sucked and released by the crane, it successfully fell into the backrest frame.
The successful production of this 8-story "giant" panel is of great significance, marking that the production capacity of China National Building Materials' ultra white, ultra thick and ultra large panel glass has reached the international leading level, demonstrating the company's technological innovation and product structure transformation strength, injecting strong momentum into expanding new profit growth points, accelerating the formation of new quality productivity, and achieving high-quality development.
