From April 24 to 26, 2025, the "First Embodied Intelligent Robot Games" hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics was held in Wuxi. Collaboration robot leader Yuejiang Technology brought its world's first "dexterous operation + straight knee walking" full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robot Atom to the grand debut, and won the "Intelligent Control Excellence Award" at the conference for its precise and silky operation skills and scene adaptability.

Atom is equipped with a self-developed high-precision servo system and NDS operating system, which has the ability to operate with high precision and stability of industrial robotic arms, and realizes the full-link collaboration of "perception-decision-execution". In the demonstration session, Atom completed precise and difficult operations such as accurately assembling chocolate gift boxes, batteries, stacking bricks, thumbtacks, taking milk, shaking hands, and handing flowers under voice commands. In the future, embodied intelligence will play a key role in many fields such as intelligent manufacturing, smart cities, medical and elderly care, service industries, education and entertainment.

Based on the 1:1 humanoid arm configuration design and the self-developed neural drive dexterity operating system (NDS) to achieve a repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm, Atom can complete a variety of complex and dexterous operation tasks such as automobile manufacturing and electronic assembly in industrial-grade fine operations. Based on the leading humanoid straight-kneeled gait walking system (AWS), Atom learns from a large number of human walking movements to generate highly anthropomorphic full-body movement strategies that reduce energy consumption by 42% and significantly extend the duration of work compared to traditional bent knee walking robots.

As the frontier direction of artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence is moving from technical verification to practical application, and is deeply integrated into various physical scenarios, showing broad potential for industrial innovation. Through the vertical domain skill model ROM-1, Yuejiang Atom will mainly be used in scenarios such as the assembly and feeding process of thousands of car factories, the process operation of multiple equipment for coffee shops, and the night medicine collection of chain pharmacies.

As of 2024, it has shipped more than 80,000 collaborative robots worldwide, ranking first in China and top two in the world, with business in more than 80 countries and regions around the world.
