In the five years since its establishment, Shandong Port has focused on national needs and industry trends, aimed at the development direction of new quality productivity, and accelerated the pace of high-quality development. We have built the world's first port information model (PIM), independently developed an intelligent control system for automated ports, built a fully automated port in China, and the world's first coastal open automation port. We have made significant breakthroughs in key areas of "bottleneck" technology, and the "Liangang Innovation Team" has been honored as a "model of the times"; We will fully promote the "Hydrogen into Ten Thousand Houses" technology demonstration project, build the world's first "Hydrogen+5G" smart ecological dock, and the country's first port hydrogen refueling station, paving the way for a unique and industry-leading "hydrogen port" construction.
At the same time, Shandong Port coordinates hydrogen energy and green development, and takes the lead in releasing the "14th Five Year Plan" for green and low-carbon ports of Shandong Port Group in the entire port navigation field. Hydrogen energy development is included as a key element in the comprehensive energy application of the port area, fully supporting the construction of Qingdao Port as a "China Hydrogen Port". Since 2019, research on hydrogen powered trucks and rail cranes has been launched in Qingdao Port, leading the domestic implementation of hydrogen powered trucks in port operations and the world's first hydrogen powered automated rail crane; In 2021, we will undertake the project of "Hydrogen into Ten Thousand Houses" and carry out research on the integration and demonstration of key technologies for hydrogen energy ports; In 2022, the first fully qualified port hydrogen refueling station in China will be built at Qingdao Port, and hydrogen energy trucks will be introduced for large-scale demonstration applications, laying a solid foundation for the construction of a comprehensive hydrogen energy port
Significant achievements have been made in the construction of green and low-carbon ports for hydrogen energy
Expanding the application of hydrogen energy and accelerating energy substitution is the trend, and building hydrogen energy ports and creating green ports and waterways is an essential part of high-quality development. Over the past five years, Shandong Port has actively practiced its green and low-carbon mission, promoted port energy transformation, and innovatively created four "hydrogen energy ports" achievements, including the first low-carbon and clean energy supply system for ports in China, providing a "Chinese solution" for the green development of the global port and shipping industry.
--Established the first low-carbon and clean energy supply system for ports in China: built the country's first port hydrogen refueling station, innovated emergency management models, built an integrated monitoring and analysis platform, formulated safety technology management standards, and achieved all-weather intelligent, real-time, and dynamic safety operation and management; Tailored liquid driven compressors to meet the high-frequency refueling needs of hydrogen powered vehicles; Equipped with a high flow rate dual gun hydrogen refueling machine, the filling efficiency has been improved by 50%, with a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of over 1000 kilograms and a cumulative hydrogen refueling amount of over 80000 kilograms, reducing carbon emissions by over 1000 tons, and building a "low-cost, high-efficiency, and highly reliable" port hydrogen energy supply system.
--Take the lead in achieving large-scale demonstration operation of hydrogen powered vehicles in ports nationwide: promote research and trial use of hydrogen powered vehicles in ports, and take the lead in launching all-weather testing of hydrogen powered truck port operations in China; Anchoring the hydrogen electric coupling requirements of port specific vehicle models, continuously optimizing the configuration of the container truck, vehicle layout, power system, fuel cell and other key core designs, developing port specific hydrogen energy container trucks with a maximum traction capacity of over 70 tons and a hydrogen consumption of as low as 9.7 kilograms per 100 kilometers, possessing significant advantages such as zero emissions, high efficiency, low noise, and fast hydrogenation; Promote the application of 50 specialized hydrogen vehicles for various ports, with a cumulative operating mileage of 800000 kilometers, which can replace traditional fuel with 260000 liters, creating a "mountain port model" for the promotion and application of hydrogen vehicles in the port and shipping industry.
--Pioneering hydrogen electric coupling DC microgrid rail crane globally: Leading the industry in proposing a series parallel coupling rail crane split power system configuration, constructing an integrated control power system coupling device, achieving perfect integration of low-power fuel cells and high load rail cranes, complementary utilization of hydrogen and electricity, improving the efficiency of new energy utilization, and reducing dependence on traditional energy; Pioneering the "four machine integration" hydrogen energy rail crane power intelligent scheduling method, the total installed capacity has been reduced by 55.9%, the instantaneous peak power has been reduced by 68.8%, and the total average energy consumption has been reduced by 28%, leading large port machinery and equipment into a new era of hydrogen energy.
--Pioneering the development of the world's first 7000 horsepower ultra high power hydrogen electric hybrid tugboat: adopting the world's first "hydrogen fuel cell+liquid cooled lithium battery" power mode, creating the world's first "fuel cell hybrid+green ecological symbol" new ship type, which can reduce carbon emissions by more than 1400 tons per year, truly achieving zero emissions and zero pollution, and setting a new benchmark for the low-carbon and environmental protection transformation of ships.
It is not difficult to see that Shandong Port has embarked on an independent and innovative path in firmly promoting the construction of "China Hydrogen Port", interpreting the mission and responsibility of the world's largest port cluster. The creation of a series of achievements has also accumulated experience and wisdom in future hydrogen port construction, and the journey of leading the construction of world-class marine port clusters with new productivity has become smoother.

In terms of specific measures, relying on Qingdao Port to build a "three major systems" of port hydrogen supply system, efficient hydrogenation system, and hydrogen safety control system, we will create a "three demonstration" of integrated application of port hydrogen energy throughout the entire industry chain, multi scenario application demonstration, and diversified application demonstration. We will also build a "three major platforms" of hydrogen energy industry university research innovation development platform, hydrogen energy trade hub platform, and hydrogen energy port public service platform.
