Recently, the "double-layer AGV intelligent parking robot stand-alone and complete system" developed by CIMC IOT, a subsidiary of CIMC, has obtained the CE certification issued by TÜV Rheinland in Germany, which marks that CIMC AGV intelligent parking products have obtained the EU market pass, and their production control, technology research and development, product quality, safety and environmental protection have met the requirements of international standards and EU directives. This will help enhance the influence of CIMC AGV in the international market and lay the foundation for accelerating the development of the international market.
The "CE" mark is a safety certification mark, which is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market. In the EU market, the CE mark is a mandatory certification mark. Passing the CE certification indicates that the product has met the safety requirements stipulated in the EU directives. It is also a commitment to consumers, which increases consumers' trust in the brand and reduces the risk of products being detained by customs, investigated by market supervision agencies, and malicious accusations by competitors in the European market.
It is understood that the double-layer AGV intelligent parking robot developed by CIMC IoT was planned and designed in accordance with the CE safety mark at the beginning of its design, including a fully flame-retardant shell, motion control, and personnel safety solutions based on multiple sensors, including safety radar, safety edge contact, overspeed detection, sound and light alarm, etc. At the same time, CIMC IoT's R&D team starts from customer needs and continuously optimizes the design of the AGV robot body to maximize operating efficiency on the basis of meeting CE certification.

In addition to the strict requirements for the AGV body, there are also strict regulations on the AGV peripheral equipment, control and dispatching system, including the coordination and cooperation of AGV and lift, RGV, vehicle-containing board and other equipment and systems, which ensures the safety and efficiency of the AGV robot system to the greatest extent.
Passing the CE certification shows that the whole system of CIMC AGV garage has met the safety requirements stipulated by the EU directives and meets the "going to sea" standard. In the future, other types of AGV parking robots developed by CIMC IOT will enter the European market, and only need to certify the details that have changed with the AGV system that has passed CE certification, which can greatly shorten the cycle of entering the European market.

It is understood that the first phase of the project will provide 1,550 parking spaces, all of which will be automatically parked by AGV robots, which will become the world's largest AGV robot parking lot after completion.
At present, the preliminary design of the project has been completed and the certification has been obtained by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of Hong Kong. It is worth mentioning that Hong Kong's requirements for smart garage products must not only meet CE standards, but also meet the requirements of EMSD, which has a higher test of software and hardware technical strength. The project is progressing in an orderly manner as planned.
